8th Graders Graduate from Providence Catholic School

Providence Catholic School 8th Grade Class graduation ceremony on May 29, 2018 in Sacred Heart Conventual Chapel at Our Lady of the Lake University, San Antonio, Texas.

For the past 67 years, Providence Catholic School has been a constant presence in Catholic education in the San Antonio community. Providence High School was established in 1951 by the Sisters of Divine Providence after consolidating five of their smaller high schools. By expanding enrollment in 2005 to include middle school grades 6-8, Providence created a unique opportunity for single gender education for girls in San Antonio and the name was changed to Providence Catholic School. This educational institution is situated on three acres of historically significant property in the Museum Reach of the San Antonio River. Providence is accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department and Southern Association for Colleges and Schools. Keeping true to the core values of excellence, integrity, faith and justice, Providence has graduated more than 6,000 young women–many who live, work and make a difference in the San Antonio community and the world at large.  [http://saprivateschools.com/business/providence-catholic-school/]
