Sister Lucille Ann Fritsch, CDP
October 23, 1932 – April 17, 2019
Sister Lucille Ann Fritsch, CDP, aka Sister Mary Cordelia, entered eternal life on April 17, 2019 at the age of 86. She was the daughter of Alfred Joseph and Marie Agnes (Seidenberger) Fritsch. Sister Lucille Ann was born in Schulenberg, Texas on October 23, 1932. She answered God’s call to become a Sister of Divine Providence on June 21, 1952. Sister Lucille Ann prayerfully accepted her many ministries as opportunities for growth and recognized the challenging aspects as blessings of self-awareness.
Sister Lucille Ann taught 4th – 8th grade throughout her 22 years as a teacher in Pasadena and Houston, Texas as well as in Alexandria and Cloutierville, Louisiana. She dually served as Principal during seven of those years in Tulsa and Ponca City, Oklahoma. She served as a full-time Principal of St. Pius X School in Tulsa, Oklahoma for an additional five years. She earned a Bachelor and Master of Science in Education and a Master of Arts in Religious Studies that included a certification in Spiritual Direction.
