Congratulations, Sister Cecile Clare Vanderlick!

Holy Savior Menard Central High School in Alexandria has remodeled its Chemistry Lab and named it in honor of Sister Cecile Clare in recognition of her 40 years at the school and the influence she had on thousands of students. Funds for the remodeling project were provided by many of her former students and her relatives. January 31 was the date of the dedication and, by Skype, Sister was able to join the friends and relatives present in Alexandria. After an introduction and a blessing of the lab by Father Partain, the persons in attendance came to the camera to have a short visit with Sister. There were even some baby Vanderlick relatives present. A number of Sisters who reside at OLLCC were also present in the solarium to enjoy the celebration.

What a wonderful acknowledgement of “Sister CC’s” many years of dedicated service. Congratulations! Thanks to the McCullough Hall staff for making the arrangements for Sister to participate in the event.
