Annual Professed Sister Megan Grewing shares

With the events of the past few weeks, especially this week I feel compelled to post something. These weeks have seen the death of one of the Sisters in my community, and two teenagers who lost battles to cancer. I have also seen the senseless death of a very talented young singer, and a massacre within days of each other. It makes no sense! My heart is hurting for a world that is so much lacking the one thing it really needs, LOVE. These days it seems to me that in this day and time it is far more courageous to turn to LOVE rather than hate. LOVE MUST WIN! We need to LOVE as God, who is love, loves. We need to see the world through God’s eyes, through the eyes of love, radical love. I pray that we have the courage to LOVE as God does.
