CDP Prayer Tradition in Fredericksburg

Sisters Fran Trochta and Imelda Maurer attended the 11:15 Mass at St. Mary’s Church in Fredericksburg, Texas, on June 19th. Inside the missalette were two notes, one in English and one in Spanish, with a prayer, noting that the prayer was a tradition begun by the Sisters of Divine Providence “over a hundred years ago.”  A fitting acknowledgement of the CDP presence and ministry in Fredericksburg.
