Celebrating Catholic Sisters Week – March 8-14

Catholic Sisters Week, commencing on March 8th to align with International Women’s Day, invites us to celebrate and acknowledge the transformative work of women religious across the globe. This year features a diverse array of events organized by Communicators for Women Religious, from educational webinars to community service projects, all designed to connect with and applaud the efforts of these dedicated Sisters.

Moreover, Catholic Sisters Week provides an opportunity to delve into different forms of spirituality, understand the unique charisms of various congregations, and explore ways to serve and advocate within our world. Events such as the ‘Beating Guns‘ seminar, food drives, and storytelling sessions, offer avenues for everyone to learn, contribute, and reflect on the critical issues of today.

There are also numerous ways to get involved:

1. Acknowledgment and Storytelling: Share your experiences, stories, or photographs with the Sisters of Divine Providence.
