Join us for Moye-Di Gras 2020, benefiting Moye Retreat Center and the Congregation of Divine Providence!

The Congregation of Divine Providence will host their annual Moye-Di Gras event in Castroville on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. A play on the popular Mardi Gras, or Fat Tuesday, which takes place the day before Ash Wednesday, our Moye-Di Gras incorporates the name of Father John Martin Moye, the Congregation’s founder.

Highly anticipated each year, Moye-Di Gras is an all-out party, welcoming more than 225 guests annually. The evening features a menu of New Orleans favorites catered by Acadiana Cajun Cafe, complemented by an open bar including wine, beer and margaritas. Dancing, a spirited live auction, raffle and loads of fun round out the evening.

Moye-Di Gras raises critical funds to help the Sisters maintain and improve their former motherhouse, and serves as a unique opportunity to celebrate the rich history of the Sisters of Divine Providence and Moye Retreat Center in Castroville.
