McCullough Hall is one of the Best!
The Sisters of Divine Providence proudly announce that one of its sponsored institutions, McCullough Hall Nursing Center, Inc., (MHNC) has been named one of the country’s best nursing homes for 2017-18 by U.S. News and World Report. (click HERE for article)
In an article dated Oct. 31, 2017, US News identified its Best Nursing Homes for 2017-18 and released its new Nursing Home Finder. US News evaluated more than 15,000 nursing homes nationwide, in every state and nearly 100 major metropolitan areas. This year, nearly 2,300 nursing homes earned the designation of a US News Best Nursing Home.
Each home is separately evaluated by State. The article stated about McCullough Hall that it “has an overall rating of Top Performing. It is a small facility with 51 beds and has nonprofit, church ownership….It participates in Medicare and Medicaid.”
McCullough Hall was rated Above Average or Top Performing in designated categories including Overall Rating, Health Inspection and Complaints, Staffing, and Medical Care Quality Measures.
MHNC was established in 1972 to provide a licensed, skilled nursing facility for members of the Congregation of Divine Providence and for others in need of its care. MHNC provides rooms for up to 51 residents in the city of San Antonio. MHNC is considered a five-star nursing facility by the Texas Department of Health and Human Services.
