McCullough Hall Nursing Center Renovation Update

McCullough Hall Solarium Expansion and shower room renovations are moving forward. This past Friday the slabs were poured for the expansion of the Solarium on the east and west sides of the existing structure.

The shower room renovation demolition began also. The CDP maintenance team salvaged what they felt was reusable. Concrete saws are being used to trench for additional plumbing. The ceiling and air conditioning units will be lifted higher in order to create an 8ft ceiling height. Also, noise canceling panels will be installed in the shower room to reduce noise transfer during and after construction.

It is the construction company’s hope that framing of the new walls for the Solarium will begin the first week in June. They appear to be on target!
