Sister Christina Chavez, CDP Featured on “A Nun’s Life”

“A Nun’s Life” began its ministry as a blog 13 years ago. Since their start, they’ve continued their blog and have expanded it to a website, which provides podcasts, videos and social media for their online community. Their role has been to make Sisters and their stories accessible to those interested in spirituality, ministry and prayer.

“A Nun’s Life” offered a Sisters Education Workshop with support from the GHR Foundation. The workshop included training for Sisters to share their stories along with tips for filming, video editing and interviewing. Recently, one of our very own Sisters, Sister Christina Chavez, CDP, was invited to take part in this program. “A Nun’s Life wants to be able to capture the stories of who religious Sisters are,” Sister Christina recalls. Not only did Sister Christina get the opportunity to attend this program, she was featured in a “Nunday” video where she speaks about the freedom that comes from living the vows.
