Sisters in Morelia see Pope Francis

Our Sisters Estela Solis, Lupita Silva, Mariela Gil and MariCruz De La Cruz saw Pope Francis during his visit to Morelia Michoacan. Here is Sister Mariela’s Facebook post/prayer from February 16, 2016:

Dios Providente, que la presencia del Papa Francisco no sea un acontecimiento más en nuestra vida sino que el mensaje que nos ha traído a la vida religiosa y sacerdotal sea esa voz del Dios de la vida que nos sigue invitando a estar unidos al amor (DIOS) desde un verdadero encuentro en la oración para vencer las tentaciones que se nos presentan en la realidad de hoy en la cual estamos inmersos y servir con generosidad al pueblo de Dios y junto con ellos hacer el camino que genera y transmite vida sin caer en la resignación , que “no nos dejemos llevar por la asedia”. Concédenos Dios tu gracia para que éste mensaje sea vida en nuestra vida y no sea en vano la venida del Papa Francisco.

Translation:

Provident God, that the presence of the Pope Francisco may not be just another event in our lives but that the message he has brought to religious and priests be that voice of God, of life that continues to invite us to be united to love (God) from a true encounter in prayer to overcome the temptations that are presented to us in the reality of today in which we are immersed and serve with generosity to the people of God and together with them to make the way that generates and transmits life without falling into resignation (giving up), that “we may not be overwhelmed”. Grant us Lord, your grace so that this message become life in our lives and that Pope Francisco’s visit not be in vain.
