OLLU, founded in 1895 by the Congregation of Divine Providence, is a coeducational comprehensive institution with an enrollment of more than 3,100 students. With its main residential campus in San Antonio and non-traditional programs in San Antonio, Houston, the Rio Grande Valley (La Feria), and online, OLLU has a presence in two of the largest cities in Texas, the border region, and literally around the world. Since 1951, Providence Catholic School has committed to educating girls and to playing an instrumental part in their transformation into women of Faith, Justice, Integrity and Excellence. Over the last seven decades, more than six thousand Providence women have graduated and gone on to make a difference in their careers, families, churches and communities. In 2005, Providence High School opened its doors to grades 6-8, becoming Providence Catholic School and giving girls the opportunity to get a head start on experiencing the power of Providence. Providence offers students an education fostered in faith in our Provident God, rich in love and with emphasis on the growth of the well-rounded student, preparing young women for the world of tomorrow. A ministry of the Sisters of Divine Providence, Moye Retreat Center is a gathering place that hosts retreats, renewal programs, academic retreats, and other group activities. Located in Castroville, Moye Retreat Center is the original Motherhouse of the Sisters of Divine Providence in Texas. The Center welcomes groups and individuals of all denominations, women and men from diverse backgrounds and beliefs.
McCullough Hall Nursing Center
McCullough Hall Nursing Center, Inc. is a sponsored ministry of the Congregation of Divine Providence that provides high quality, affordable long and short-term care which includes physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy, for short-term residents. The mission is to continue the healing ministry of Jesus Christ in such a way that both givers and receivers of its services experience God’s love and compassion.
