Sister Cecilia González, raised in El Capulín, Guanajuanto, learned of the Congregation when she met another Sister in secundaria night school in Querétaro. Cecilia had four siblings, and two of her uncles were priests. Her father was the organist in the parish church, and her mother was a catechist. She is an experienced formator and evaluator of catechists on the parochial as well as diocesan level. In all her missions, she has used her degree in social work to great effect. Since 2014, Sister Cecilia has worked at a retirement center for men and women in the city of Querétaro and also at Transfiguration parish.
