Works of Mercy

On Saturday, April 2, Sister Anita Brenek and Sister Deborah Fuchs were at the “InSight” program for high school girls in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. The day’s theme was “Mercy Received, Mercy Given” and featured the ministries of Sisters as various Works of Mercy. Sister Anita helped coordinate the day and Sister Deborah presented her many years of experience as a certified nurse midwife as a Work of Mercy for many women. The day was held at the Dominican Sisters of Mary Immaculate Province in Houston, with several other Sisters helping and presenting also.
